Hey all!

I thought it was about time to share some of my music with you! As mentioned in my first blog post (here), my new-found passion for composing music was my main inspiration for starting this blog. I’m still on the road to discovering the best way to share my music & how to go about recording my songs, but in the meantime I thought I’d share some videos of me playing some of my stuff 🙂

Nothing too fancy to see here… just me jimmy-rigging my iphone on the sofa to record myself in my yoga pants doing what I love. Ha!

This song is called “New Beginnings.” I wrote it in less than an hour after moving my piano into our new home in early February. My trusty ol’ piano & a single lamp were the only 2 things in the room at the time. I was home by myself, & I just sat down & let the creativity & inspiration flow. Soon, “New Beginnings” was born. The title was inspired by my overflowing gratitude for all of the “fresh starts” in my life. New home, new health journey, new-found passion for composing music, new ideas, & new discoveries yet to be found in my life.
